I'm sure with Christmas just days away, you likely need a break. So get a cup of tea or hot chocolate, shut the door, turn your volume up and drift away for 2 minutes. Thank God for what he's given you this year, and proclaim the joy in your own heart as you listen to Joy to the World.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Rainy Day Tip #1
It's raining. Still. It's been raining for like a week. I've lost count. Cause it's supposed to keep raining for the next week.
Where oh where has my little sun gone? Oh where or where can she be? Cause she's clearly left Southern California.
Everyone together now: "The rain came down for forty long days-ies, days-ies..."
Anyway, what better rainy day activity is there?
Dip something! Yum!!
It's simple really, melt chocolate chips or better yet melting chocolate in 20 second spurts in the micro until runny. Then dip! Everything. And almost anything.
If you're like me you might have lollipop sticks and molds on hand so do some of those too. If not, pretzels, marshmallows, Oreo's, graham crackers, holiday cookies, apples or apple slices, drizzle it on popcorn and let harden, then break and eat! So many options, so many rainy days to try them out!
Stay dray. Stay warm. Stay sane. Reply with your favorite rainy day activities.

1 Corinthians 13 for Christmas
from Intentionally Katie by "Intentionally Katie"
If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny glass balls, but do not show love to my family, I'm just another decorator. If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family, I'm just another cook.
If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in a nursing home and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family, it profits me nothing.
If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties and sing the choir's cantata, but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.
Love stops cooking to huge a child.
Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband.
Love is kind, though harried and tired.
Love doesn't envy another's home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.
Love doesn't yell at the kids to get out of the way.
Love doesn't give only to those who are able to give in return, but rejoices in giving to those who can't.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost and golf clubs will rust.
But giving the gift of love endures.
