LA County Fair Fun

What??!! It's here already?

Nope. We still have 88 days until the fair opens. BUT, if you and your kids would like to participate in any of the contests or programs, you need to know and think and work on the entry's now. Aren't you glad I'm compiling the info for you?

Okay - so the LACF has a whole medieval castle theme (America's Kids - A Time Long Ago) going on this year. Along with the regular food and craft entries there's a ton of stuff surrounding the medieval theme.

Here are a few of my favorites (and the ones my kids will be participating in):











Castle Banner or Shield - Decorate our castle walls with your family crest or other colorful and regal design on a poster board banner or shield.

Decorate a Crown - Use your imagination and a few craft supplies to design the most beautiful crown jewels you can imagine!

Read for Ride - Read stories and ride the rides at the L.A. County Fair. Bring your entry form to the America’s Kids exhibit information booth during the Fair and get free ride vouchers. (Here's some really great printable grade book report forms.)
